Meet the Founder
Dr. Rachael Sausman, PT, DPT
Dr. Rachael Sausman is originally from Texas, where she earned her BS in Kinesiology and Health with a focus on Exercise Science from The University of Texas at Austin, followed by her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Texas State. She completed her Neurologic Residency at USC/Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Hospital, one of the nation's leading rehabilitation centers, and holds board certification as a Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. It's a credential earned by fewer than 4% of physical therapists nationally, and it reflects her deep commitment to neurologic care.
She has worked extensively with patients across both orthopedic and neurologic conditions, including ACL reconstruction, meniscectomy/repair, total joint replacements, stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and other diagnoses across ICU, acute, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient settings.
She has a strong passion for helping people find independence, confidence, and an improved quality of life through movement.
When she isn't with patients, she enjoys spending time outdoors and is an avid weightlifter. She is also actively learning Spanish and working on her pickleball game.
