Meet the Founder
Dr. Rachael Sausman, PT, DPT
Dr. Rachael Sausman is originally from Texas where she earned her BS in Kinesiology and Health with a focus on Exercise Science from The University of Texas at Austin, followed by her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Texas State. She completed her Neurologic Residency at USC/Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Hospital — one of the nation’s leading rehabilitation centers. By combining her advanced clinical training with a patient centered approach, Dr. Rachael provides tailored care to each of her patients.
She has worked extensively with patients with both orthopedic and neurologic conditions, including: ACL reconstruction, meniscectomy/repair, total joint replacements, stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and other diagnoses across ICU, acute, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient settings
She has a strong passion for helping people find independence, confidence, and improving quality of life through movement.
When she isn’t with patients, she enjoys spending time outdoors and is an avid weightlifter. She is actively learning Spanish and spending time improving her pickleball skills.
